A Scenic Tour of Western Ireland

Things have been EXTREMELY busy at work these days for me, so I've been a little behind on my posting already. I figured I could at least post my pictures so you guys could see what's going on in Ireland. It's definitely winter here, but at least it's not as cold as it was when I was in Chicago!! However, we DID bring the snow here! Apparently it hadn't snowed here in years...little did they know that I bring crazy weather (usually in the form of rain) wherever I go. We went to the Cliffs of Moher near Galway - they were gorgeous, but unfortunately it was too foggy to get a good view. It was also ridiculously cold and windy!
Well, here are my pics and I'll try to write a little more later. It's kinda nice having a car to drive around (even though it's on the other side of the road)...we're able to check out the country side and drive to different spots within the country. On our way back from Galway, we took the scenic coastal route to Sligo and stopped every 10 minutes or so to take pictures.
Obviously we couldn't do this the whole time or we'd never make it back, so after about 4 hours we decided to just get back to the comforts of home (well, hotel).
enjoy the pics!
